Bio Vera names BioVera Fresh — partner-run shops for programme fruit and veg
HAMBURG — Bio Vera has gone public with BioVera Fresh: a retail format for fruit and vegetables that come through its grower programme and are sold in shops run by partners under its rulebook.
Each pilot pairs floor sales with an in-store “Fresh” bar where staff blend juices and prep salads in plain sight—partly so slower lines do not end up in the bin.
The firm bills the line under its existing strapline—direct ties to growers, tight cold-chain discipline, controlled quality—and says shoppers still get the same QR-backed passport data it uses upstream.
Bio Vera was careful to call the idea an extra sales channel, not a rival to wholesalers or supermarkets it already supplies.
It released concept photos and an English-only partner prospect online; it did not cite opening dates, cities or lease signings.
“If the dossier is sound at the farm gate, the shelf should read cleanly too—we’re testing whether that story travels better when you pair bulk fruit with a small prep counter.”
