Bio Vera rolls out Protocol 360 — three QA gates from parcel to chilled haulage
HAMBURG — Bio Vera has named Protocol 360: an internal rulebook that replaces ad-hoc spreadsheets with three fixed checkpoints from parcel to truck.
Eco-Safe covers the parcel before harvest—heavy metals, nitrate load, soil pH and moisture—with readings taken at least 48 hours ahead; failing lots stop there.
Pack-houses run biometric and visual checks—size, flesh firmness, wrap and colour drift—so damaged fruit surfaces before it boards a lorry.
Logistics Guard watches cold-chain bands en route (often 2–8 °C where the worksheet demands) and flags automated alerts if the agreed band breaks.
All three layers write into one digital file shared with growers, hauliers and retail-facing teams Bio Vera already works with.
Editors testing the public viewer can swap YOUR_BATCH_ID for the code printed beside each QR passport: biovera.app/protocol-360?batchId=YOUR_BATCH_ID.
“We stopped pretending a PDF attachment is traceability—either the sensors and inspections land in one journal or downstream buyers are guessing.”
